Retro apron
This is a apron for work that I embroidered a retro chef on. We have an Italian restaurant, so I thought she was perfect for it. The design came from www.retroboulevard.com. The owner of this website is a great designer. Her designs are all really cute.

Pillowcases
Have you ever wanted to make a pillowcase, but weren't sure of the measurements.?? I recently needed to make a travel size pillow, but couldn't find measurements anywhere, so I guessed. Lucky my guess was right.
You need 16x30 rectangle of the body of the pillowcase fabric.
9x30 rectangle for the heading.
I use piping on my pillowcase where the head and the body are sewn together.
To make a standard size pillowcase, you will need :
27'x42' for the body.
9'x42' for the heading .
42' of piping.
Queen and King size pillowcases:
36'x 42 for the body
9'x42 for the heading.
42' of piping.
If you would rather use a piece of fabric instead of piping, this would be cut at 2 1/2' x 42. Folded in half, and sewn the same as the piping would be.
These are great fun to make, and so easy..
