Fall wallhanging

Fall will be here before we know it, and I'm getting ready. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, winter is the other one, I could do without summer except I like homegrown veggies. Anyway, here is the first of my fall wallhangings I will have for sale. I used to have an Etsy store, but they have changed things around so much I have to figure it all out. I don't like changes. lol

This wallhanging is 13X 27. Perfect for that small space where  you have nothing to display. I like those unexpected places where you find something too cute. The wallhanging is made with 100% quilt shop quality fabrics. It can be washed and hung to dry. It has a hanging sleeve on the back if you want to hang it on a rod. I usually  use an old sewing machine needle pounded lightly into the wall for small things. The needles make very small holes in the wall .
Price is $35.00/s/h included.

Creative Women

I have always love Debbie Mumm designs. When I found this panel I had to have it. It's from a few years back because I have quite a few UFO's that are from a few years back. Since I have had free time lately, I've been trying to finish them. Proud to say this is the final one.

This fits me perfectly because I have tried to do most of these things.  Idle hands and all of that...lol.
Now, I will start on some new quilt tops. Maybe I will finally get the Christmas quilt I have been promising myself done this year. All other beds in the house have them, but our room is sadly lacking.  I have a plan in my head, now just have to transfer it to fabric.

Pinterest grout cleaner

I saw a post on pinterest about a grout cleaner that only used Dawn (blue one) and peroxide. Since I have ceramic tile all through my house, I thought I would give it a try.
The pinterest post said 1 part Dawn to 2 parts peroxide.  This really works well, but I had so much soap suds from the Dawn, it was impossible to wipe clean. This bucket is full of suds after changing the water at least 10 times.  WAY to much Dawn.  I even kept adding more peroxide, but the Dawn suds are just too potent. lol

If I do it again, I will do 1 part dawn and about 4 parts peroxide.  Like I said before, it works really well, but the soap suds are out of control.

This is a pic of the difference in the grout lines when I had finished one area.

It's kinda of hard to tell from the pic, but the grout looks like it did the day the tile was installed.  Much better.  I'm very happy with the dawn/peroxide combo for cleaning grout. Just not their amounts. If you try it, less Dawn is definitely better. You can always add more. But its very hard to take it away.
